Milgard, the well-known windows and doors manufacturer announced the launch of two newly-designed sliding patio doors which incorporate the SmartTouch Handle technology. The SmartTouch is a simple lock that can be operated by one single touch, allowing to open or close the window with only one hand and with barely any effort. This lock is AAMA certified as providing excellent security. In the same time, it’s endorsed by the Arthritis Foundation for the ease of use it provides to arthritis sufferers who have troubles in operating usual window locks. This lock is available only on the two premium lines of doors from Milgard, namely Tuscany and Montecito.

The two new sliding patio doors belong to the same two product lines, one for replacement doors and the other one for new constructions.
